Pitts Roofing Company, Inc. can trace it roots back to 1914 here in North Texas. In 1914 George Pitts founded a small general contracting firm called Pitts Construction in Fort Worth. In addition to the construction company, George also started a cabinet shop. George and his youngest son Roy specialized in department store remodeling, working on stores such as Leonard’s Department Store and Washer Brothers. George ran the company up until the early 1960s, when he handed the reins of the business to Roy. Roy focused on providing the highest quality construction services available. Pitts Construction worked on many Fort Worth landmarks including the Sinclair Building, the W.T. Waggoner Building, Colonial Country Club, as well as countless homes in the finest neighborhoods in Fort Worth and Dallas. While working for Roy, both Dans recognized a need for a fine roofing contractor to service North Texas. In 1992 Pitts Roofing Company was formed, and later incorporated in 1996. The father and son roofing company flourished ever since. Today, the company provides both residential and commercial roofing services. Pitts Roofing Company, Inc. has had the pleasure to install roofs numerous projects in Sundance Square including the Jet Building, the Flying Saucer, and the new 8.0 stage. In addition to thousands of homes Pitts Roofing has re-roofed, Pitts has replaced roofs for industrial and institutional clients such as Miller Brewing Company and Harris Hospital. Dan Pitts Jr. currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Roofing Contractors Association Texas and as the Immediate Past President of the North Texas Roofing Contractors Association.

Pitts Roofing Company has a long history serving the roofing and construction needs of North Texas and looks forward to many more years of providing great products and service.
